We Are Building the Ultimate Laundry Map!
Our interactive map feature is currently under construction.
Coming Soon: Find Local & Unique Laundries
We are working hard to develop a specialized map dedicated to travelers in Japan. Unlike standard maps, our goal is to help you find not just the big chains, but also unique local spots that offer a real Japanese experience.
What features are coming?
- 📍 Search based on your current location.
- ♨️ Filter for laundries attached to traditional “Sento” (public baths).
- 👟 Filter for shops with “Sneaker Washers”.
- 📸 Photos of machines so you know what to expect before you go.
How to Find a Laundry Right Now (Temporary Tips)
While we finish building our map, here are the best ways to find a coin laundry near you during your trip:
📱 1. Use Google Maps
Open Google Maps on your phone. Copy and paste the Japanese word below into the search bar for the best results. It works much better than searching in English.
(Pronounced: Koin Randorī)
🏨 2. Ask Your Accommodation Staff
Hotel concierge or hostel staff always know the nearest reliable laundry. Just ask: “Where is the nearest coin laundry?”
🏪 3. Look Around Convenience Stores
In residential areas, coin laundries are often located near convenience stores like 7-Eleven, Lawson, or FamilyMart. If you see a convenience store, there might be a laundry nearby.
Be Ready Before You Go!
While you look for a location, make sure you know how to use the machines and the local manners.
